Sara Elsonbaty (b. 1994, Egypt) obtained her BDS from Tanta University in 2017, followed by a 1-year clinical internship at Tanta University Hospitals and affiliated hospitals under the Egyptian Ministry of Health in 2018. Since 2019, she has worked as a general dentist within the Egyptian Ministry of Health and in private practice, gaining extensive experience in clinical dentistry and patient care.

In 2022, she moved to Leuven, Belgium, where she completed a postgraduate program in Advanced Medical Imaging, graduating with great distinction in 2024. In 2026, she is undertaking a specialization training in dentomaxillofacial radiology within the OMFS-IMPATH research group at KU Leuven.
